Window Shopping At The Pet Store
Boredom Buster Description: Currently, we are a pet-less family. We had a lovely beta named Ariel-Nemo Mealey for three months, and babysat Speedy the guinea pig for 2 weeks. Nonetheless, when boredom creeps in our door we like to venture to the pet megastores to browse birds, beasts, and rodents to our hearts' delight. Often you can watch fun events like hamster ball racing, puppy training classes, and learn how to care for finches. Other shoppers and store managers are often happy to answer questions about their animals. After visiting the store we head to the library to check out books about our favorite animals of the day.
Boredom Buster Bio: Cathy Mealey writes books for children and the young at heart. You can read some of her work at http://bildebok.wordpress.com.
Thank you, Cathy Mealey, for this great idea!
